It has a plunger that when compressed by the Trigger/Igniter Assembly (part #17/18), it opens an internal pathway for the regulated fuel to enter into the heat gun's fuel system. The Valve Assembly is fastened directly to the Left and Right Hand Housings (parts #15 & #16) using Assembly Screws (part #29).*The Shrinkfast 200 (998) Valve Assembly is also available in Metric upon request.
